Great googily-moogily! (The KFC Chefs)

Can't find a Chiefs thread, so here goes...

Watched most of Chiefs-Eagles last night. I know pre-season means nothing, but K.C. has some pretty good young players.

Cassell, Charles, McCluster, and this guy, who introduced himself to DeSean Jackson last night:

They may not be too bad in a few years.

Somewhat related, but I was watching that "Sound FX" (or something like that) show on the NFL Network this week, where they mic up different players and coaches and show a highlight package from the entire game from the prior weekend, and it was pretty amazing to hear the sounds of an NFL play while seeing the hits these guys make and take. When you're watching a regular TV broadcast you don't really get the same appreciation for how violent the sport is, but it's ridiculous. That picture illustrates the same thing.

I can't believe more guys don't get paralyzed playing in the NFL.

A few years ago I went to a Browns game and sat in my friend's seats that are 13 rows from the field. High enough to see everything, but close enough that you could hear the pads. I had the same feeling as the violence of the collisions really stood out to me. I have never been that close to NFL game action.

If I'm not totally mistaken, McCluster and Greg Hardy were in a car wreck that was caused partly by one of the two texting and driving.

Great commercial.

How about that Tony Moeaki? He'll get injured by Week 6, but he's a great all around TE for them, he was a great pick.

This team is sneaky intriguing!

why did haley decide to go all riverboat gambler all day against the colts today? if they hadn't kicked that retarded ass onside and kicked a FG on the first drive in the redzone they couldve won that game. dumb coaching cost them this one. that and cassell's perennial craptacularness.
