this move makes sense. they're going to fire Hue early next season unless they win 3 or 4 of their first 6 and replace him with Haley.

1-31 and he kept his job? If hue jackson where bl....hey wait a minute!

If you were a fan of a team Hue Jackson coached and watched him coach a game, you would demand he be fired on the spot. So yeah, he is getting more than a fair shot.

Right now, I think the Cleveland job is attractive.

You have a solid football guy installed as GM, and the team has a ton of draft picks and cap room. Also, you are starting at rock bottom. No team in league history has been worse than the Browns the last two years. If I had capable assistants, I could have won more games than Hue simply by not having Kizer throw 30+ times a game.

The Bucs were right to fire Lovie. He was terrible. But they should have fired their GM, too. He's still being terrible.

McCarron won his hearing so he is an unrestricted free agent, but I have not seen any news that he is definitely signing with the Browns. I really have no idea what they will do.

Sign McCarron as a stop gap for a year or two so you can sit one of the QBs from the current draft (Allen maybe?).

I like it. McCarron is an immediate upgrade from what you have now. I can see the Browns contending for a W next season with AJ.
