How to Blow a Super Bowl in 25 Easy Steps-The Falcons

OK, since there isn't one here, I'm opening it.

Nice win for my Falcons today. Excellent work on D, although I think the Miami offense will be underwhelming this season. Need to work on extra points, though. Don't need to be like the Saints

The most bizarre play I've seen live. I remember watching that as it happened and my brother immediately saying " I guarantee they'll shank the extra point."

As long as Jake Delhomme continues to have a career breakdown, the dirty birds have a good look at the NFC South. I'd love to see a Falcons-Packers NFC title game.

The Saints looked scary, though.

The Panthers and Bucs fucking suck...

No real antics. I would never want to get the guy that got me down there in trouble and I was really busy the whole game. My guy told me that I would be helping him out. I thought that meant carrying stuff or something. His job was operating the the system that takes pictures you seem the looking over on the sideline. I had to staple them into a binder after every play and than run the binder to a coach (OL and DL) after every series. I was really surprised that they would put a job of some consequence in the hands of a guy off the street that was vouched for by a low level employee. Didn't think NFL teams operated like this.

I suprisingly didn't mess up. Even though there was an awkward moment when the coach was ripping a player a new ass and I was standing within a foot of both of them waiting for the coach to grab said binder out of my hand.

I didn't really see much action as we were behind the bench. One observation I had is that I am amazed that the camera cart on the sideline does not result in a couple fatalaties every week. Some photogtapher almost got run over. Security had to pull him out of the way. That thing get moving.

Did Bill Belichick ever show up like Slugworth in Willie Wonka and ask you for a copy of the pictures?

Samuel L is here to inspire the ATL:

I eagerly await a Saints fan putting in a digital Brees that stomps or stabs or somehow kills Samuel L a la:

i think this team is going to the super bowl.

green bay looks to be the other legit NFC team, and if the falcons can clinch home field then i think they win it. this presumes that matt ryan and roddy white stay healthy. home game against green bay in a couple weeks will be a big test.

IF the Falcons can stay healthy, they should. Need to work a little on the pass D, but other than that, I'm a big fan of this team. Knocking the Saints out of the playoffs in Week 16 would be, oh, too sweet.

First post here in a while.

So, we know the Pack are getting all the love in the national media, and we know that the Falcons are going to play the role of the 2006 Bears, being predicted to win by Vegas while the ESPN "experts" all fall over themselves to pick the Packers.

The Packers are a good team, I'll grant, but they're good for at least 4 or 5 drops a game. They're also good for 7 or 8 penalties a game, and their offensive line is either shitty or slightly above mediocre.

I know I'm generally wrong, but I think the Falcons win by 10+.

QBs I'd rather have than Matt Ryan, saving the obvious, like your Rivers, Rodgers, Brees, Andrew Luck, Jake Delhomme, etc.

Josh Freeman
Troy Smith
Joe Flacco
Joe Webb
Charlie Whitehust
Sam Bradford
Matt Flynn
Kevin Kolb
Jimmy Clau- ah, no, not him.
Vince Young
Steve DeBerg
Shaun Hill
Tim Tebow
Colt McCoy
John Skelton
Jeff George

that was 63% serious. cheering for ryan was like cheering for cancer.

<spits on ground and kicks dog> sweet defense too.

Still bitter about '98, huh?

(Seriously, our pass D couldn't stop anybody. It was embarrassing).
