There's nothing in this "hard hitting" article that is surprising. You cannot work with people for 17 years, have this much success and not end up irritating each other or seeking to expand your lives, legacies, and all that other horseshit. However, the dramatic tone of the article is almost laughably tabloidy, which will serve Balls' Mouthbreathing Pats Schaudenfruede Nation well.

I totally believe they fucked up the Garappolo situation, but there was no wiggle room. Brady was not giving up his job, he wasn't going to do anything to help Jimmy get his job, and he has built enough goodwill in the organization and played well enough that there's no way Kraft would have allowed Belichick to trade him.

Brady and Garappolo having the same agent really put the Pats in a bind.

Horseshit move by the TB12 Center to not treat Jimmy G.

Again, Brady wasn't going to do anything that might help Garappolo take his job. Dick move? Sure. But that's his mentality, and it's gonna cost the Patriots in the long run.

Well your run has been long enough, in fairness.

And I gotta be honest. I'm tired of it. Yeah, I said it. Get me number six and let's go on vacation.

waah

You say that now, but wait until Tyrod delivers ring number 5 in 2027. You'll be tired, too!

Brady is 40, Belickick is 65, and Kraft has dementia. So... yes?

Cool story, ESPN. A lot of really insightful stuff in here. Hugely successful people with massive egos sometimes butt heads and cause drama within their organization? I look forward to next week's thinkpiece about the role of cold temperatures in the creation of ice.

I can't WAIT till they shit the bed against the Bills next week and the internet pretends this article was a huge distraction and the reason they lost, and 10 million words are written in the offseason about which one of them needs to go.

Leo Spaceman seems more apt. Dr. Nick was able to perform a triple bypass.

Ha, it was mostly because Guerrero's degree reminded me of Hollywood Upstairs Medical College, and I can't remember where Spaceman went, but the comparison works.

Yeah I gotcha, just wanted to be like 'nuh uh, my comparison is better!'

Yeah someone wrote something along the lines of "the chances all 3 will be back next year are blah blah blah" and you're sitting there going, "I guarantee one will be unless he has a heart attack banging whichever whore is helping him get over his wife dying (it's a part of the grieving process)"

Not a huge fan of two bye weeks before the AFC Chip, but this is the NFL, and you have to play the cards you're dealt.
