Good rundown of who is coming up:
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... e-classes/

I don't see Randy Moss getting left off the first ballot. Well above Holt & Bruce, less baggage (slightly) than TO, plus his year with the Pats is probably enough. Also has done a lot to rehabilitate his image in the past couple years by showing he's a likable guy.

Peter King will never vote for Moss.

Junior Seau, Kurt Warner, and Orlando Pace up for election

Seau, Pace, Harrison, Greene, and Haley would be my picks. What say you?

Pace was never the best lineman on his own team. True fact. Not a HOFer.

jimmy Johnson wasn't great long enough in Dallas and didn't do enough with the Dolphins, I wouldn't vote him in

Agreed, I'm as big of a homer for Jimmy as anyone but I don't think he's a HOF guy.

Real talk, Will Shields should be in. That guy was a monster for KC and Nebraska. He made Priest Holmes a monster.

Yeah, if you want to lump college in with the pros, take it over to the "Only reason to visit Springfield, MA" thread.

ETA: I do agree though, I think Shields would be my pick.

OK.

Seven time All-Pro. Twelve time Pro Bowl-er. Played for 14 seasons, playing in 236 consecutive games, starting 235. Somehow escaped Lawton, Oklahoma, the armpit of America.

First, thou shalt not defame Lawton

Second, wasn't saying he shouldn't make it, just that throwing in what he did at Nebraska doesn't matter
