Looking forward to the replay of Cotto/Canelo next Saturday on HBO. Cotto's the best.
PS: I will never like July 27th. It will always be the day Reggie died. I just hate this day. True Celtic fans know what I mean.

My friend is supposed to be buying the PPV. If I'm around and still awake at 1 AM, I'll head over to watch it live.
Ballz: So, I fucking got a BJ for $250 total, and wore a rubber. It sucked, I couldnt even feel it, so i jeckyled onto her tits. She was cute. Not even that far out of my league, it was a waste of $250

Did anyone see that Mura/Vargas fight from the Cotto/Alvarez card last week? Holy shit, great fight. Home Box showed a replay of it. That chinaman is tough as shit.

Fixed. Seriously, my grandpa hated Ali. My dad is ambivalent.

That's crazy talk. Pretty much everyone was behind Ali except a few isolated grouchy old coots. No one denies this.

Uhm, I believe that my father wanted Frazier to literally kill Ali in the first fight.

But not as much as he wanted Phil Mickleson to literally kill Tiger Woods, amirite.

I am on record as being a bit reticent to totally lionize Ali because of his treatment of Frazier (building a fight is one thing--saying a guy is an Uncle Tom is completely another), but I do think he was legitimately remorseful that it went as far as it did.

I do not now, nor have I ever had an issue with his braggadocio, his refusal to fight in Vietnam (he didn't go to Canada, he didn't fake an injury, he just didn't want to fight in a war he didn't agree with and took the punishment--YMMV on whether it was heroic, but it damn sure wasn't cowardly), and he is almost certainly the best heavyweight boxer of all-time. I'd be willing to bet my Army vet grandpa, and my Korean War-vet great-uncle and WWII-vet great-grandpa weren't fond of Ali, doe.

I figure my WWII-vet great-grandpa would have had absolutely no problem whatsoever rooting for Joe Frazier, or Joe Louis.
