I think Spieth is as good a choice as any--he SHOULD be the two time defending champ right now. Dude has got the course figured out.

Yeah, really idiotic to pick a guy that has gone 2nd, 1st, 2nd in his 3 Masters appearances. I think the course suits him.

eta: He did miss the cut at Houston last week, but he won the AT & T at Pebble.

Secondary market ticket prices to #TheMasters

Avg single day pass: $1,566
Avg 4-day pass: $5,250
Prices up 32% from 2016

What. I thought Masters was supposed to be "affordable". What are the face values on these?

I think my PGA tix last year were 90 or 100 each for Round 2.

At no point in its history have Masters tickets been considered to be or wanted to be "affordable" for the plebes.

Yeah, I only know people who have been there for practice rounds or the par 3 because the regular prices are ridiculous.

Theny here, with your 2017 Masters Preview!

FAVORITE: Dustin Johnson (+600) Been on fire this year. Just gotta putt.
CONTENDER: Rickie Fowler (+1800) I may be biased because I saw him win the Honda.
DARK HORSE: Patrick Reed (+8000) Not really a dark horse but those are tremendous odds.

Good luck, Gentlemen.

My dad has been there a couple times. I guess he had free tix maybe. But he always says how the concession prices are insanely cheap. Like $2 hot dogs and shit. Unlike the other tourneys. And they have really limited TV commercials. and until recently, they really only put it on TV on Sat and Sunday at 3 PM, so no one would ever see the full 18 holes. #Tradition

Ricky Fowler is a faggot who is never going to win anything. He makes Sergio look like a steely-eyed killer.

i would guess that the tickets are affordable if you are able to buy them from the tournament. not surprised the secondary market prices are insane.

Apparently today's tickets to the practice round are going for under a hundred. There's heavy rain in the FORE!cast and the possibility of a tornado.

From the Masters website itself--practice round tickets (M-W) are $65 each and regular round (Th-Su) are $100 each.

That place is amazeballs--not a blade of grass out of place and the folks working there are incredibly friendly. Concession prices are ridiculously cheap--we got 4 pimento cheese sandwiches and 4 Miller Lites for $22 total.

They shut down the grounds twice Monday because of inclement weather so we weren't able to get through the merchandise shop. They shut it down about 20 people ahead of us. We got to see most of the course before the storms rolled in though. Would highly recommend signing up for the lottery every year to go down for at least a practice round.
