_, I've never seen "JichaelDick (or JohnnyDamon) is a dumb motherfucker" on the site banner, either. And the ain't wasn't at all intentionally aimed at my Southerness. If I'd have wanted to Southernize it, that post would have looked a little like this:

I'll try my darnedest, but I ain't promisin' a danged thing.

I'd actually tell Susanna not to cry for me. I'm coming to Louisiana with a banjo on my knee.

Dreamboat and I were at the Dolphin Bar during the Kentucky Derby. We both agreed Barbaro was gonna win (I always take the horse with the lowest odds in that race) and he came through. We won the pool that some random old dude was doing too. Good times.

Well, I had Barbaro in 3 of my 4 bets. Won nothing, as i had to junk them all up with loser horses in tris, exactas and a superfecta. I should have just bet him to win or show or something.
PS: I will never like July 27th. It will always be the day Reggie died. I just hate this day. True Celtic fans know what I mean.

Hate to see that happen to any horse, much less a horse like Barbaro. Doggone it.

True. Not the way you want to see the underdog win. Although horse racing's approach to injuries has some practical applications in other major sports. "Mr. ARod, I'm afraid your ACL is torn and your tibia is fractured. I'm afraid we're going to have to put you down."

Jesus, Frank. Your Yankee hate is slipping these days. Here's some help:

Wow, what a sickening feeling it is when a horse (especially a horse of that caliber) breaks his leg like that. And you'd think in this day and age with all the medical breakthroughs we've had, a horse could survive a broken friggin' leg.
