I'm glad R & A and USGA got rid of these losers who call in penalties.

It’s a disgrace that it took them this long, but better late than never.

Thank you.

Good. That’s pretty crazy that they ever allowed this to go on.

Agreed. Golf society needs to lead the way.

I shot 111 last week at Miles Square in Fountain Valley. It was a very easy, wide open muni course. Could not get it going off the deck. Hit a 4 iron well, need to get comfortable with another club between the 4 and a PW.

Working on my Oahu plans. Got into a minor tiff with a partner because I wanted to get 18 holes in Monday morning while he wants us to head over to a trade show that afternoon. I'm not sure why those are mutually exclusive, but whatever. Looks like the compromise is that we'll all be playing 9. If I get into it with him over this, everyone else is going to be stuck, and the easier play here is to just book everyone for 9, then have me and the other non-working partner keep playing. Right now Royal Hawaiian looks like the best/closest course we can get on. If we play there I'll lose a million balls, should be fun.

In other news, I'm there on my own an extra night and booked a room at Turtle Bay. Never been to the North Shore and want to get that off the list. The site shows that all tee times are booked through mid-April. Hoping they hold some for guests.

Finally, my buddy forwarded an email that the NYC muni courses are open today. Its low 50s out. Hoping that I didn't see that too late and he wants to head out at noon for a quick round.

The concierge service for your American Express Centurion Card can probably help you with that.

Too bad I am on an SPG card under someone else's Centurion. That someone else being the guy who doesn't want us playing on Monday.

I'll give the resort a call when its not 5 AM over there.
