I want to see Arizona's frosh first, but.......yeah, you're right.

Sean Miller will shit his pants when he hears "Elite 8" for the first time.

Out of the top 25 by week 2? I'm impressed.

Also, Long Dick's VT squad is going to wipe the floor with my Hawkeyes in the B1G-ACC Challenge. Iowa has struggggggggled early on.

And here I was feeling all great about beating the #2 team in the country when they go and lose the other two games they played in the Bahamas. GAH.

Alabama has a chance to be really good, IMO. Sexton giving imaginary high fives after hitting free throws was gold.

I am going to two contests of NCAA basketball on Saturday with my Wipe.

Towson Tigers (who?), Manhattan Jaspers (who?), Holy Cross & La Salle all play off for the right to be crowned champions of Northern Ireland.

38 all at halftime was very surprising to me. 46-17 or whatever it was in the 2nd half was not.

Solid read on the Balls and UCLA

Those worries were compounded when LaVar pulled LaMelo out of Chino Hills High School in early October, opting to home-school his youngest son. LaVar said he was going to "make him the best basketball player ever" after pulling him out of high school.

"I can get him the best game every day," Ball told ESPN's Ramona Shelburne in October. "I just gotta go down to the hood and say, 'Who wanna ball with my son?'"

One thing to keep in mind: At no point has LiAngelo been considered an NBA prospect. He was a three-star recruit coming out of high school, and wasn't likely to see much time at UCLA even if eligible.

"He's not on any of our scouting lists -- even the extended lists," one GM told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Monday.

8-3 and 2-0 in the Big Ten with wins over Wisconsin and Michigan. They don't have any really good wins but their losses are to Gonzaga, Butler and Clemson. Keeping my eye on this.

At around 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 6, Erikas Kirvelaitis, a 21-year-old basketball journalist in Lithuania, sent an unsolicited question via Twitter to Harrison Gaines, a sports agent in Los Angeles with two semifamous teenage clients: Would LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball, by any chance, be interested in playing professional basketball in Prienai?

Kirvelaitis had been hired only a few months earlier to do part-time communications work for Prienai-Birstonas Vytautas, a small club here in the Lithuanian basketball league. His bosses did not know at first about his Twitter gambit. It was a shot the dark, anyway.

But to Kirvelaitis’s amazement, Gaines wrote back asking for more information. And less than a week later, the young Americans were signing contracts to begin their professional careers in this unassuming town nearly 6,000 miles from home.

At least LaVar had a plan!

Why is Izzo still coaching? Like seriously.
PS: I will never like July 27th. It will always be the day Reggie died. I just hate this day. True Celtic fans know what I mean.

made the mistake of going to see some exciting Patriot League hoops this weekend, Lehigh at American. awful basketball. tied toward end of regulation, AU gets a steal, hustle it up the court, point guard (2nd best guy on a team with 2 decent players) has a head of steam, gets some separation and nails a go-ahead midrange jumper with 3 seconds left....... which gets wiped off the board because their idiot coach called timeout with 5.4 seconds to go. time goes back up on the board, they run a disjointed semblance of a play, get a lousy shot off, leave enough time for Lehigh to get the rebound and one of their guys to almost make a halfcourt buzzer beater. goes to OT, it's close and AU's idiot coach picks up a technical which pretty much kills their chances. AU get the ball down by 2 at the end but fumble it around and get a shot up after the buzzer sounds.
You coin contrarian bro and say shit nonsense like this.
