I vote for Tommy Tuberville. Also, i bet the guy that left pitt to go to ASU would leave ASU to go to USC if they called him.

Haha Todd Graham. They were speculating on twitter yesterday that he'd identify some third cousins he wanted to be closer to in Southern Cali.

Seems like the logical time for Chris Petersen to make the move. Although, they are seeing Jim Mora have success at UCLA, so that could prompt them to reach into the NFL ranks.

Im not trolling here, I swear. They should go for Chip. You know Chip can kick 90% of other college teams' asses when he has 500% better talent.

Chip knows he cant match up with ANYONE in the NFL.

Its a good move for both parties.

Except Chip is banned from coaching in college for another few years and USC is still on probation. Other than that.

no. peterson's recruiting base largely depends on kids who can't qualify to play in the Pac 12, and the pacific northwest and then using the talent disparity to blow away everyone else during the regular season. there's no chance he would be succesful at USC, even with a staff of recruiters.

Peterson turned down the UCLA job before it was offered to Jim Mora, jr. It was widely believed that the only job he would leave Boise for was Oregon, and now that job will not be open for at least a few years.

His decision to go to Tennessee was a carefully measured one. Then-Alabama coach Gene Stallings was honest with Martin: He thought Freddie Kitchens was the Crimson Tide's present and future behind center.

Oh, Gene. You're one of my favorite college coaches ever, but Gene...

The lesson here is to let your kid eat McDonald's occasionally:

Former USC and Raiders quarterback Todd Marinovich pleaded guilty Tuesday to multiple misdemeanor charges but has a chance to avoid jail time.

Marinovich was arrested in August after he was found naked in another person's backyard in Irvine, Calif. According to the Orange County Register , police said Marinovich was carrying a brown bag with methamphetamine, marijuana, syringes, a marijuana pipe and his wallet.
