I breakdown the Shore cast thusly:

DUDES
Situation: Highly entertaining dude and probably the only one with a shot at something in showbiz after this show runs its course.

Pauly D: Seems like a cool guy, entertaining but only in the context of this show. If he didn't have the show and his apparently lucrative DJ gig, I'd imagine he'd end up being one of the guys on BangBus.

Ronnie: Thought he was a total jerkoff in Season 1: totally pussy whipped over Sammi, getting in fights over seemingly nothing. I wonder if MTV does the editing on a weekly basis or all at once; Ronnie in Season 1 makes me think the former because I felt at first when he hooks up w/ Sammi, you're supposed to think he's the good guy and root him on. But as the show progressed, it felt edited to make Sitch the show's hero and Ronnie the d-bag. The Season 2 premiere Ronnie was fucking awesome.

Vinny: The only one that strikes me as semi-normal, actually reminds me of friends I have, but in the context of a show like this he's meh.

Angelina: Season 1 Angelina was a total bore. Season 2 Angelina looked like she dropped a few pounds, is rockin' the naturals jugs which is a welcome change in that house, and is obviously DTF.

I think bringing Angelina back was a huge mistake. Starting the argumentsmight work for an episode or two, but having everyone in the house hate one person will hurt the show very soon. I did enjoy her angrily telling allthe girls in the cab that they don't understand her and/or the concept of love because she is the only onethat left the show for a married guy who did not like being around her, though. And, the cab scene switching between the girls' cab and the guys' cab was excellent editing.

From the season preview at the end of the show, I am very much looing forward to watching M-V-P, Vinny was definitely underutilized last season.

Finally caught the premiere last night. I can't agree more with Bricks' assessment of The Situation--his comment about Ronnie picking up grenades and landmines had me rolling. MTV should throw him into breaking down the Challenges, Real World, Teen Mom, and whatever other BS programs they show. He's entertaining as hell.
