SOTSG Fantasy Basketball 2010-2011

Postby someguysomewhere » 03 Oct 2010, 12:16

Alright, due to the overwhelming enthusiasm expressed for doing a basketball league, I'm setting up a draft. Same settings as last year.

League ID#: 50374
League Name: SOTSG Fantasy Hoops
Password: playmakah
Draft Type: Live Online Draft
Draft Time: Sunday, October 24th - 8:00pm EDT

In as Sloan's Tractor until I think of a better name.

if im cooking frozen pizza in the oven, how long should i preheat it. box says preheat to 375F but for how long?

Apr 25
the opportunity cost of knowing how to preheat an oven is pretty puny compared to anything else

If I signup, can I update my team once a week like in football and not get absolutely murdered like in baseball?

If it would increase interest in the League, I could change the settings to make roster settings weekly instead of daily.

Ooooooooooooooh, I feel drunk with power.

In honor of NBA Jam coming out on Tuesday, I'm in as Boomshakalaka!

Any preference for daily or weekly line-ups?

I'm fine either way. What stat categories are we using?

I copied last year's:

Field Goal Percentage (FG%)
3-point Shots Made (3PTM)
Points Scored (PTS)
Total Rebounds (REB)
Assists (AST)
Steals (ST)
Blocked Shots (BLK)
Turnovers (TO)

I'd be happy to dump TO's and add either FTM or FT%. I hate TO's in fantasy.

I do too, but I'm fine with whatever.

If we are going to do weekly lineups, I could be interested in joining. No desire to do a daily league.

To me, this sounds like another chance for an apathy league.

I'll change the settings to weekly and trade TO's for FT%.
