Among those Cora mentioned to replace Pedroia at second base: Blake Swihart.

@bradfo

Rob Bradford

Swihart said yesterday second base is the one position he has never played

Craig, thoughts?

They hated Farrell. Farrell is now gone. But Price and Pedroia are still there and they're thin skinned babies. This is a supremely unlikable team outside of Sale.

Surprising that a Boston team is unlikable.

JD Martinez, huh. Cool. I've been excited about this one since I first heard of Martinez last November.

Bottom line is, the Sox have the talent. The pitching, the hitting, everything, if they don't all decide to collectively suck a fart like last year. If Price, Sale, and Porcello pitch to their capabilities, and the young bats shake off last year and continue to improve, there's no reason they can't compete in the AL East.

HOWEVA, Price is a faggot, Sale is too fragile to last the season, and if Dusty Two Sacks is your "leader" in the clubhouse, it could be a long year.

when did it become known that Dusty was a prick. I thought he was gritty, whitey, mcscrapper that all his teammates loved?
