I've said this before, but I 100% seriously think he might be very mildly retarded. Or suffering some lingering effects of that skull-to-skull collision in the 2003 ALDS. He is as dumb as a sackful of rocks.

From PK in MMQB:

Re the train wreck that is John Lackey. I'm at the Red Sox-Jays game Friday night at Fenway, and Lackey gets lit up ridiculously -- 4.1 innings, eight hits, two walks, three hit-batsmen; 13 outs, 13 baserunners -- and in the Globe Saturday morning, this is the quote I read, in part, from Lackey: "They just kind of found some holes.'' Dude, were you even at the game you pitched? You got shelled.

Lackey is the worst. It's always lucky bounces, bad fielding, small ballbarks... never him. $18.7 mil this year for a 4.63 ERA and 1.48 WHIP. Unbelievable.

Not exactly. Just that the Patriots have never had a black starting QB, unlike Tennessee. \:D/

Next time you see a black quarterback, make sure you thank them for paving the way.

18.7 mil for lackey seems a touch excessive. MLB is insane.
PS: I will never like July 27th. It will always be the day Reggie died. I just hate this day. True Celtic fans know what I mean.

Meh, he wasn't even one of our first three black quarterbacks.

Seriously. Condredge Holloway is, was, and always will be the man, and I'm not even a Tennessee fan.

(Yes, I know you'll make fun of me, Theny).
