My wife grew up in New Hampshire. As a result she is a SAWX/Pats/Celts/Bruins fan. What's the most I should pay for tix to take her fam to Fenway? Bonus points for the most I should pay to take a group from SOTSG.

Thank you in advance,

N66

Hello nerf66,

I did not know this about your wife. That is a fun fact. For Red Sox tickets, I wouldn't pay $8 to sit in those cramped seats. HOWEVER, if you want to show what a BSD you are, I had a blast in the State Street Pavillion seats one year, nice day game. Waitress service, the menu was ta....die.....fo. And padded seats so my fats ass didn't get too sore.

I did not pay for these seats, but I imagine you're looking at $100 each. Throw in some hot dogs and $9 beers, and you're looking at a pretty expensive date. But as we've all learned here, our wives are priceless and deserve whatever we can get them.

For SOTSGers, I'd get standing room tickets. These dainty ass motherfuckers can stand.

Hope this helps, miss you xoxo,

Gregory

I do not see ticket prices in the secondary market recovering this year, so tickets below face value should be abundant on stubhub all year, except for Yankees games and summer weekend games.

Red Sox fans--do they typically have a weekend series prior to the marathon? I know they have the traditional 11am game on Patriots Day. Went through their schedules on ESPN.com from the past 10 yrs or so and it looks like they have every year. Would like to catch a game in Fenway while I'm up there in April.

They typically do a wrap around series from Friday to Monday.

Thanks! Do you think Frank can finagle (look it up balls) the SOTSG Fenway box for us to meet up for either Friday or Saturday's game?

It is confirmed that they will be playing the Blue Jays that day. I presume it won't be the Sunday night game since asking them to play a 10:35am start after a night game seems very cruel. I'm guessing I can swing some tickets. Let me work on it.

Yeah, say what you want about Pink Hat Nation, but the Massholes were always Sawx fans. The bandwagoners were from around the country.
