Something I love about the bandwagon Sox fans all over the country: they apparently aren't in Cleveland. My beloved Tribe is averaging 15,530 fans per game this year. The Sox are intown right now, and last night's attendance was a mere 14,758. Bandwagon nation apparently couldn't be bothered to come to my fair city. Thanks.

I thought that was strange when I was watching the game last night. The last time I was at a Red Sox-Indians game in Cleveland was 2007, and the game was practically sold out and it was almost 50/50 Indians versus Red Sox fans.

Thats actually pretty shocking. I guess Cleveland is so apathetic about sports that they dont bother jumping on bandwagons. Or maybe they are ahead of the curve and have realized before everyone else that being a phony Red Sox fan is for jackasses, and also that going to baseball games is one of the biggest money and time wasters that anyone cane do. Well done, Cleveland. =D> Just think when you lose Lebron, you'll have 0 sports fans left in town.

At that 2007 game, there was actually a lot of people from New England, many who drove. I saw a bunch of Mass. license plates in the lots around the stadium.

Of course, there are bandwagon fans here still. I seen Indians/Blue Jays a few weeks ago and I seen two guys wearing Philz Roy Halladay gear.

Hono(u)rable Mention: Tim McCarver - I don't remember him playing for the Sox in '74-'75, but Wiki says he did. Anyways, he sucks ass as an announcer, so fuck him.

5. JD Drew - Like every other Sox fan, I tried to talk myself into thinking he would be good for this team. He makes WAY too much money and always looks uninterested.

4. Johnny Damon - Yes, he was key in ending the 86 year drought but:

Damon on 5/1/05 wrote:There’s no way I can go play for the Yankees, but I know they are going to come after me hard. It’s definitely not the most important thing to go out there for the top dollar, which the Yankees are going to offer me. It’s not what I need

Damon on 12/21/05 wrote:I was just trying to get the best offer

Fuck you and that shitty arm of yours.

3. Julio Lugo - He sucks. Always has, always will. I'm sure Rickey Sez can expand on this thought.

2. Kevin Millar - "Cowboy Up" What the fuck does that even mean?

Google "Kevin Millar" and you'll be amazed at the number of images of him looking like a douchebag.

Image

1. Julian Tavarez - Besides being a shitty pitcher, he snubbed my autograph seeking son for no apparent reason.

Vete a la mierda! Julian
BSMB: So, I fucking got a BJ for $250 total, and wore a rubber. it sucked, I couldnt even feel it, so i jeckyled onto her tits. She was cute. Not even that far out of my league. it was a waste of $250

Your argument is rock-solid, and I'm not going to defend Damon. However, I do think it's fair to point out that I honestly and truly believe that he's very mildly retarded. I'm not joking about this. I don't know if it's something that began with the skull-to-skull collision in the 2003 ALDS, or if he's always been this way, but he has some kind of problem.

Ten most annoying pro athletes in Boston:

10. Shaq: Dude, you'd be on a gravy train with biscuit wheels in Miami right now if you didn't burn your bridges on the way out last time. Have fun in Beantown this winter!!!

9. Rajon Rondo: Not really his fault, but he's the prototypical dude who gets way overhyped because he plays in espn's lap.

8. SCAL: Fucking worthless ginger, go away.

7. Papelbon: Luckily he sucks now, or he'd be way higher on this list.

6. Dutty Pedrioa: Scrappyyyyyyyy

5. Matt Light: for pulling Channing Crowder's hair like a little bitch.

4. YOOOOOUUUKKKK. no explanation necessary.

3. Paul Pierce: God, I hate your face, Paul.

2. WELKAHHHHH

1. The biggest most obnoxious dbag in all of sports in none other than KG.

that was way too easy.

Lifetime achievement awards to Schilling and Bill Walton. Both blowhard homos.

Boohoo, Johnny Damon doesn't want to play in Boston.

Si did an article on him right after he signed and it was all about the $12 mil difference, which worked out to his new house and a mortgage that was as long as his contract (4 years?).
