I know that there are people who would deservedly feel the same way vis a vis myself, but I find the thought of Michelle Beadle watching and enjoying the Boondocks to be highly unsettling.

Big Bang Theory was probably included because of its ratings, but the angry crossing out of its name suggests that the voters did not approve of it there.

Arrested Development losing so early invalidates it all, although Veep is really really great.

I watched a few episodes in the first season, and thought it was just OK, so I stopped watching it.

I don't know if it got better, because I am confused by all the love it receives if it did not.

Serial? Thought it'd be right down your alley.

Big fan myself, but it has no business winning....whatever that was, let alone beating Curb.

This will be heavily influenced by Twitter as a lot of these folks aren't on TV a ton (PATRIARCHY!! *Shakes Fist*), but here goes nothing:

My "Top 5 Female Sports Personalities, Ranked Almost Entirely by Personality and not Taking Looks Into Account but I'll Provide Pictures Anyhow List", aka the Not Beadle List.

HM: Sage Steele (one of the better SC anchors), Suzy Kolber (very solid, competent host), Sam Ponder (I feel like she gets saddled with a lot of the overly dramatic stuff on Gameday but she does a good job), Katie Nolan (she's kind of dropped off the face of the earth from her 15 minutes about 6 months ago); Amy Trask (very knowledgeable, insightful); Kristen Ledlow (pretty funny on Twitter), Holly Rowe/Shelley Smith (they both do good jobs, fairly indistinguishable from one another)

5. Sarah Spain--Yes she can be a major SJW and hypocritical at times, annoyingly political, but I do find that she knows sports and when she's shit talking people on Twitter, I generally enjoy it.

Image

4. Ramona Shelbourne--Great reporter, good writer, entertaining podcast guest.

Image

3. Nicole Auerbach--Might be my favorite college BB writer out there.

Image

2. Rachel Nichols--I find her to be a good host and a good guest on podcasts, she can laugh at herself but seems overall like an entertaining person.

Image

1. Mina Kimes--She's funny, she's one of ESPN Mag's best writers. She can be a bit (ok, very) SJW-y at times, but I find her to be entertaining, very smart.

Umm, interesting list.

The only exposure I have to Spain and Shelbourne is that I sometimes hear them on ESPN radio on weekend mornings. They could not be less entertaining in that format.

I think I have heard Spain maybe 10 times total on radio. Guess how many times she was talking about a woman's issue in those times. If your answer is not double figures you would be wrong.

With you on Nichols and the fat Lakers writer. No clue who the other two are and Spain's tits don't offset her annoyingness enough.

Holly Anderson is good. Cool post, sco.

everyone follows woj for personnel moves but when it comes to front office politics and on the owner's side shelbourne is easily the best reporter in that rhelm. she nailed the details on both the clippers and lakers situations. really great.

Thought about Holly Anderson but she basically writes news for MTV now so I didn't put her on.

I probably shouldn't have put Spain in the top 5, I think that was tit bias.

Auerbach is really really good. Strong rec on Twitter, knows her shit.

Needs more Doris Kearns Goodwin Burke. She's better than Steele.

I like Nichols more than is healthy.
