That was pretty good. Forgot about Vince cutting a promo on the 50 yard line before the first game.

I thought that was one of the more entertaining ones they have done lately. Not exactly haunting and powerful but an entertaining show.

Nice. Except that Ewing was good and important.

I think you may have forgotten someone important here, ESPN.

Maybe a little bit of shade at Simmons? :33:

And what is with Kareem over Russell? Does ESPN even Boston?

Simmons himself says Russell was terrified of Kareem, so I can't blame ESPN here.

Between him, Scalabrine and Mark Madsen, they are really taking the Lakers/Celtics commitment to end of the bench white towel-wavers into account with this. I would put Vujacic there, but then I remembered the Lakers had him defending Ray Allen 1-on-1 in the most crucial possession of an NBA finals game. That's GOAT coach Phil Jackson for ya.

Are people watching this Lakers/Celtics thing? I put it on for maybe 30 secs ln, and Ice Cube was narrating something about racism. I couldnt even hate-watch it.

What a fresh topic. Lakers/Celtics.

I picked it up around 9:15pm last night and watched through the end (11pm). I'm old enough to remember some of the '84 finals so revisiting that was fun. I followed the Lakers some in the 80s because they drafted Big Game James so I'm en joying it.

ML Carr came off as a giant douche last night. I wanted to punch him through the tv.

You Boston haters will probably disagree but it's nice to be reminded of how great Bird was before his back gave out.
