(BTW, I would stay as far away from the state of Alabama as possible...the Saban love up here is ridiculous. Heck, even his decision to kick a field goal late to go down 4 against Arkansas has been lauded by many as a "brilliant" move, because he "knew McFadden was hurt.")

Yeah well, WE NEED A FUCKING QB!!!!111! ANYTIME THIS DECADE WOULD BE NICE!!!!11!!

And yeah I know about the Alabama thing...that win last week hurt my soul. On the bright side, my dream of 'Bama possibly making the Orange Bowl is still alive. :sniff:

the dolphins had dan marino for 15 years so they don't deserve another good quarterback for at least a couple decades.

The Tide's coming to Jacksonville a week from Saturday, you can see your hero then. ;)

Meh, Jacksonville doesn't really count. That's Jags/Gators territory.

I don't want another Dan Marino. That really sucked when we had him. Seriously.

SAS is Right. I often think dez Bryant gets called angry for no reason whereas fiery is the label witten gets. However also who cares and also doesn’t this work both ways? Ray Lewis is passionate and a leader but Tebow is a faggot or whatever. I mean black guys are the scariest bc they choose violence as an Option Most often

Tebow's passion and leadership were constantly praised by the media. The only hate he got was from people who thought he didn't have the tools to be a good pocket passer in the NFL. Which he didn't.

It's possible there's something to this. I think in general, QBs are given a free pass on the tantrums, and it's viewed as just being a passionate leader or whatever. Other positions, especially WRs, are seen as divas whining about not getting the ball enough. Most QBs are white, and most WRs are black. Is the treatment BECAUSE they're white/black? I don't know. But I have less of an issue with this take than I do with almost any other hot racist take I've ever heard from Stephen Bray Smith.

Noted Wide Receiver Cam Newton wants to know where he can cash in all his free passes for tantrums.

I'd like to see the self anointed Chosen One after he's won five Super Bowls. I feel like the evil, old, white media might view his tantrums differently.

Yes, and in general, black players are viewed more negatively at either position. Even incog acknowledged this, not really a great hill to die on IMO.
