You guys are creeps.

I'm blacker than Barack Obama. I shined shoes. I grew up in a five-room apartment. My father had a little laundromat in a black community not far from where we lived. I saw it all growing up.

It is apparently OK to wear black to an evening wedding. (I know because I went to a wedding one time where one of the mothers wore black and I thought that was really weird. My wife said it wasn't that weird because it is OK in evening weddings.)

Hmm. I never heard that. Learn something new, right?

And the vow renewal. That would push it towards the Mrs. Simpson world, as the wives would probably be BFFs, too. Something to also consider. None of the photos are tagged. Could he be protecting their identity that way? I expect Balls to keep digging.

Actually, I just asked her again and I was wrong - it's not just evening weddings. If the bridesmaids wear black (which they were in the wedding I went to,) then it is also OK for other people to wear black. But she thinks it's OK at evening weddings anyway.

ETA: Google sez:

http://weddings.weddingchannel.com/wedd ... ttire.aspx

It's now acceptable for female guests to wear black to weddings, especially in the late afternoon and evening.

Makes sense.

Can we redirect this thread back to its original purpose: making fun of a fat guy with a really shitty toupee telling horrible jokes and making wrong observations about sports? I'd like to point out that since Javy Vazquez has thrown six QS since June 1, Fat-O has apparently moved elsewhere:

# I would like to apologize to the Yankees for the injuries I've sustained punching things this year when AJ Burnett pitches. about 11 hours ago via web

I'm not that excited for the Sergio Mitre era.

Just a reminder, the Yankees are on pace to win about 106 games.

I have been a Yankee fan for about 33 years. Chan Ho Park is the single worst Yankee I have seen in that time.

Ed Whitson, Hideki Irabu, Kevin Brown, Jay Witasick, and Kei Igawa might have something to say about that.

BTW Phil, when u have a 2 run lead and 2 outs, the one thing u can't do is give up a 3 run homer.

Great to know. JackO is officially ready to enroll in the Tim McCarver School of Broadcasting.

jacko2323 It's been 2 games and I've already seen enough of Lance Berkman.

Nice, another objective Yankee fan.

Oh, and PS: Oswalt sucks.

I wonder why this guy bitches about a great team so much? Since he makes the exact same jokes as Simmons, maybe he thinks being a "tortured fan" will win him similar fame  Yeah, career .296 hitter Lance Berkman really sucks. Nevermind a decade of driving in over 1000 runs and hitting nearly 400 homers, 4 at-bats in da pinstripes is all FagO needs to see. He never, ever has anything positive to say about them on his Twitter where he inexplicably has 20K followers. Having famous friends to leech off of must be nice.

ETA: Should Berkman get it going, will JackO amend his stupidity, or will Berkman join Javy Vazquez and Mariano Rivera as Yankees he completely shitcanned, then never again mentioned? STAY TUNED!

I really really really don't want to defend this guy's opinions on baseball ever, but Lance Berkman is seriously on the wrong side of the mountain and his career numbers are inflated from playing in a hitter's park in the NL. I don't think he sucks, I'm not unhappy that the Yankees made the trade, and there's always the possibility he could get a couple of big hits in October. But we're not getting 2005 Berkman and there is a good chance he's got little to nothing left in the tank.
